Sealcoating Warranty Policy

Effective Date: February 18, 2026

This Warranty Policy applies to asphalt sealcoating services performed by:

Appalachian Sealcoating and Asphalt Maintenance

1. Limited Workmanship Warranty

We provide a limited workmanship warranty on asphalt sealcoating services for a period of:

90 Days from the Date of Service unless otherwise stated on proposal. 

This warranty covers:

●Product adhesion failure due to improper application
●Peeling caused by workmanship error
●Premature sealcoat separation not related to substrate failure

2. Warranty Limitations

This warranty does not cover failure, wear, or damage resulting from:

●Pre-existing asphalt deterioration
●Oil or fluid contamination
●Rust, fertilizer, or chemical spills
●Standing water or poor drainage
●Improper curing conditions
●Vehicle traffic before recommended cure time
●Excessive turning of vehicle tires
●Use of kickstands, jacks, or sharp objects
●Acts of nature (rain, snow, flooding, freeze/thaw cycles)
●Tree sap or organic staining
●Snow plowing or de-icing agents

Sealcoating is a preventative maintenance process and does not repair structural asphalt damage.

3. Cure Time Requirements

Customers must allow:
24 to 48 hours minimum cure time for foot traffic
48 to 72 hours minimum cure time for vehicle traffic
Cure times may vary based on:

●Temperature
●Humidity
●Sunlight exposure

Failure to follow cure time instructions will void this warranty.

4. Warranty Claims

To submit a warranty claim:

●Notify us within the 90-day warranty period
●Provide proof of service
●Allow inspection of the affected area

Approved warranty claims may be resolved by:

●Reapplication of sealcoat to affected areas
●Reasonable repair at our discretion

Warranty remedies are limited to corrective service only.
No monetary refunds will be issued under warranty claims.

5. Transferability

This warranty is:

●Non-transferable
●Valid only for the original customer listed on the service agreement
